Since January 2024, I am a postdoc in the Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics (APAM) department of Columbia University. My advisor is Michael Weinstein.
From October 2020 to December 2023, I was a PhD student in the POEMS team at Ensta Paris, under the supervision of Sonia Fliss and Patrick Joly.
Research interests
My current research interests lie in the mathematical study and the numerical simulation of time-harmonic wave propagation phenomena in heterogeneous ― periodic or quasiperiodic ― structures with defects. Because the corresponding problems are posed in infinite domains, I am interested in:
- designing numerical methods to truncate the computational domain, without inducing any spurious reflexions;
- the study of the limiting absorption principle;
- in the context of my postdoc, the study and the numerical computation of guided modes along lineic defects.
